If you believe you're eligible for Phi Theta Kappa at RCSJ but haven’t received an invitation, you should reach out to one of the PTK advisors for assistance.
Additionally, if you're already a PTK member from another college, you can transfer your membership to RCSJ. Contact a chapter advisor for guidance on the transfer process.
Maintaining Your Membership
To maintain your Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) membership at Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ), you must:
-
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25 – Falling below this may affect your membership status.
-
Follow PTK Constitutions and Chapter By-laws – Stay in compliance with the honor society's rules.
If you have concerns about maintaining your membership or need clarification, please contact a PTK advisor.
Provisional Membership
If you’re still working toward meeting the full eligibility requirements for Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ), you can
join as a provisional member at no cost.
As a provisional member:
✅ You
can attend chapter meetings and participate in projects and events.
❌ You
cannot vote, hold office, or represent the chapter at PTK meetings.
Once you complete 12 college-level credits with a 3.5+ GPA and meet all other PTK requirements, you’ll become eligible for full membership.
