Phi Theta Kappa’s Honors Study Topic has been a key part of the society’s mission since 1968, encouraging students to engage in scholarly research and leadership development.

• From 1968 to 2001, PTK introduced a new annual topic.
• Since 2002, the topic has been biennial (changing every two years).
• The 2024-2025 topic, "The Power of Stories," marks PTK’s 46th consecutive Honors Study Topic.

This topic will serve as the foundation for Honors in Action (HIA) projects, which help students grow as scholars and leaders.
