Since 1968, Phi Theta Kappa’s 50th Anniversary, the society has developed an Honors Study Topic. The topic serves as the cornerstone of PTK’s Honors in Action (HiA) project which is designed to fulfill the second part of PTK’s mission to develop opportunities for college students to grow as scholars and leaders. Between 1968 and 2001, PTK developed an annual topic. Beginning in 2002, we switched to developing a biennial topic. The 2020-2021 topic, To the Seventh Generation: Inheritance and Legacy, is the Society’s 44th consecutive topic.
