Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Leadership

Each PTK chapter is led by an Executive Board consisting of five student officers who play a crucial role in guiding the chapter’s activities and initiatives.

Officer Elections & Responsibilities:

Election Timing: Officers are elected each April by chapter members.

Leadership Role: The Executive Board collaborates with Chapter Advisors to develop and oversee programming and activities for the next academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Organizing chapter events and initiatives.
    • Encouraging member engagement and participat​ion.
    • Representing PTK at college and community events.

Serving as a PTK officer is a great opportunity to gain leadership experience, develop professional skills, and make a meaningful impact within the chapter and college community.​


Eligibility & Term for PTK Chapter Officers

Any Phi Theta Kappa member in good standing with both the college and the chapter is eligible to run for an elected officer position on the Chapter Executive Board, provided they meet the following requirements:

Eligibility Criteria:

✔ Must be a current PTK member in good standing.

✔ Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits at the time of election.

Term of Office:

📅 Duration: One year

📆 Term Start: June 1

📆 Term End: May 31 of the following academic year
