The Rowan College South Jersey (RCSJ) and Rowan University partnership makes higher education more affordable to South Jersey residents by providing a direct, cohesive route to a bachelor's degree with easy transfer credits.
Upon the completion of 12 credits, RCSJ students are conditionally admitted to Rowan University with the understanding that all program prerequisite coursework and GPA requirements must be satisfied. Students pay the community college tuition and fee rates while attending RCSJ, saving them substantial time and money.
Rowan University will transfer
up to 90 credits from accredited institutions of higher education, therefore, a student from any community college or university should feel confident that they will be able to transfer credit toward their Rowan degree. Rowan University also participates in the State-wide Transfer Agreement, ensuring graduates of New Jersey Community Colleges that they can fully transfer credit earned from an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree to Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. For more information,
visit Rowan University's profile on NJTransfer.org.
RCSJ students interested in transferring to Rowan University can choose from any of the following pathways to obtain their bachelor's degree:
Earn a four-year degree at a reduced price: less than $30,000 for a bachelor's degree. After earning their associate's degree, this option allows Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) students to remain at RCSJ for an additional year to complete their junior-level courses while paying RCSJ tuition and fees. Students can then transfer to Rowan University for their senior year and graduate with a bachelor's degree.
