  • Automotive Repair 10/01/24

    The Automotive Repair program includes 5 separate classes and may be taken in any order and prepare students for ASE exams. Classes include: Automotive Engine Repair (ASE A1), Automotive Engine Performance (ASE A 8), Automotive Brake Systems (ASE A5), Automotive Electrical Systems (ASE A6) and Automotive Suspension and Steering (ASE A 4).

  • Brush Up Course: Arithmetic Math 08/12/24

    Arithmetic-MA091, Algebra-MA094 and English Brush Ups are for students who have not taken developmental courses in that subject. Brush Up courses are presented in a hybrid Live Online format. Each course will be a self-paced course with a mandatory 1-hour live online portion to start the course.

    This course will teach students the essential knowledge and skills necessary to manage the business aspects of a dental practice. Students will learn communication skills, accounting procedures, insurance claim processing, dental terminology, dental anatomy, patient scheduling, inventory management, and dental coding and procedures. After completing the course, students will be eligible to take the Certified Dental Office Assistant Certification exam.

  • Industrial Maintenance Technician: Welding 9/16/24

    In Maintenance Welding, students will adhere to welding safety rules; use an acetylene torch; explain welding theory, equipment, and selection process; prepare parts to be welding; use a SMAW Welder to make basic welds on flat stock; inspect welds; and use a plasma cutter to cut flat stock. Upon completion, students will sit for the NIMS Maintenance Welding credential.

  • Medical Administrative Assistant 8/19/24

    This program prepares students to be professional medical administrative assistants dedicated to front office skills in a healthcare setting. Graduates are equipped to answer phones, process bills, communicate with patients, be up-to-date with HIPAA compliance and general office duties. The program goal is to prepare competent entry-level medical administrative assistants in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains. Student will take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam through National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

  • Pet First Aid 09/25/24

    This interactive course will focus on the topics such as pet first aid, animal CPR, preparing for and reacting to pet emergencies and general pet care. Learn aout animal behavior, "Best Practice" tips and how to plan and prepare for disasters with your animal. Required course for Veterinarian Assistant program.
