Through the Financial Services programming at CTE, students have the chance to delve deeper into a variety of business topics. This includes comprehensive instruction on QuickBooks, training to become a Loan Signing Agent, and Notary.
This course is designed to assist the current notary with a knowledge, understanding and training for the sub-specialty as a notary signing agent handling loan document packages for lenders, mortgage companies, title and escrow companies and other financial institutions. Prerequisite: Completion of the NJ Notary Public Course or current notary commission in NJ, NY or PA.
The Office of Notary Public provides vital functions; notaries perform many valuable services for New Jersey businesses, legal and financial institutions. Effective notary services ensure that all documents are properly executed, that the facts are duly certified and the general public is protected from fraud. Notarization is essential for many official documents, including mortgages, deeds, contracts and various corporate transactions. Students acquire knowledge of the history, basics, principles and earning potential within the notary business, in addition to the do's and don'ts of becoming a New Jersey Notary Public.
