Collaborative Success: Techniques for Team Building

This professional development provides insights and tips on proactive strategies to cultivate a positive team environment and encourage participants to explore the different aspects of a team, as well as ways that they can become a top-notch team performer. The learning objectives include participants understanding the foundations of a team with the four phases of the Tuckerman team development model and defining their characteristics for better understanding of team complexities. Participants will also learn tips and strategies to boost collaboration with both introvert and extrovert personalities, learn about strategies for setting and leading team meetings, consider the Six Thinking Hats model to solve potential conflicts and cultivate a team mindset for both leaders and followers in the team.
Students will receive a certificate of completion for this 3-hour professional development.
ESL Tuition Based Classes | July & September Classes
Beginner English (ESL 1) – Foundations of English Communications
Date: July 8- August 28 | Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 5:30 PM- 8 PM
Location: Cumberland Campus, Arpino Center
Beginner ESL 1 class provides students with none or limited English communications skills with instruction and practice with developing additional vocabulary, basic grammar, reading and speaking skills. This is a 40-hour campus course.
English as a Second Language (ESL) - Level 1 Live-Online
Date: September 16- November 20 | Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 6PM-8PM
Location: Online
Beginner ESL 1 class provides students with none or limited English communications skills with instruction and practice with developing additional vocabulary, basic grammar, reading and speaking skills. After the completion of this online course, students will receive a certificate of completion and the opportunity to enroll in ESL 2.
This is a live-online Zoom course. Students are responsible to have access to their own computer or electronic device and Zoom to access lessons at the provided times. Students will be emailed the book pickup days and times prior to the class start.
