Newly enrolled students should first report to the Student Services building to receive their Student ID card, then visit the library's Circulation Desk to have it validated. Proof of Rowan College registration is required. Your Student ID card is also your RCSJ Library card. In order to maintain borrowing privileges, this card must be updated and re-validated each semester. Your Student ID card may be used at the RCSJ Library and at numerous other participating libraries​ in Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland counties through our consortium​, LOGIN Libraries. Lost cards must be reported immediately to avoid unauthorized use.

Photo ID Requirement

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, as amended helps protect the privacy of student education records. The intent of the legislation is to ensure the privacy and accuracy of education records. It applies to all institutions that are recipients of federal aid administered by the Secretary of Education. Rowan College requires photo ID for all business transactions. Students without college-issued photo identification will be referred to the appropriate college administrator for assistance.
