The Rowan College-Gloucester Library strives to promote student learning in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The Library is an integral part of the Rowan College learning experience and we make every effort to provide the resources and learning environment that students need to succeed. Recent research has confirmed that students who use the library are more likely to succeed.
The Library is pleased to present its staff, services and collection through this webpage. Many exciting changes are occurring on campus and in the Library, including upgraded Computer workstations; new databases available through the Portal; full-text journal databases; an improved instructional program with an information literacy focus; and the expanded LOGIN Consortia, which increases the Library's holdings database to 1 million items and allows access to many local libraries in Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland Counties. Additional innovations will be implemented as staff members continue to integrate evolving technologies into the Library's services.
Traditional offerings will continue to be supported, with a total collection of more than 34,000 books, 3,500 audio holdings and 53 online databases. The Library also features 53 journal subscriptions. Most importantly, a friendly and helpful staff assists students in their quest for basic information and higher-level research.
Whether Rowan College students, faculty and staff are on campus or off, most of the Library's information services are available via the Web.
