EOF Shoutout

First-round draft pick and three-time Pro-Bowler Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, Mike Evans, understands the importance of a college education. With his 7th season in the NFL, he was nominated for the 2019 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. In 2016, Evans one-handed catch during a game against the Atlanta Falcons was the Bridgestone Performance Play of the Year. Mike Evans was Second-team All-Pro in 2016 and made the PFSA All-Rookie team in 2014. He is an accomplished and respected player on the field and dedicated to winning even bigger off the field. Mike Evans is fueled by his passion to give back to his community. During these unprecedented times, he has donated $100,000 to COVID-19 relief. Furthermore, Mike and his wife founded the Mike Evans Family Foundation to empower students to achieve goals despite their upbringing and background.

His community efforts align with the Educational Opportunity Fund mission and intent to support, encourage and motivate students to be great and achieve the unattainable. Despite his busy schedule, Mike Evans takes time to congratulate the Class of 2020 EOF program at Rowan College of South Jersey. EOF and RCSJ is honored to have Mike Evans acknowledge our scholars and institution.

Recognized as a productive playmaker on the field, Mike Evans accompanies Tom Brady for a legendary 2020 NFL season. Visit the RCSJ EOF Instagram @rcsjeof to view the video shout out to EOF scholars!
