Don’t wait until the last minute if you're facing challenges in your courses.
Stay organized and regularly refer to your syllabus.
Create a plan with a strong focus on time management.
Schedule a meeting with your assigned EOF Advisor/Counselor to make sure there's enough time to address your needs.
Stay connected! Your EOF team is here to support and guide you throughout the semester.
EOF Holds
Students accepted into the EOF program will notice an EOF hold on their account throughout the academic year. The purpose of this hold is to ensure that EOF students meet with their assigned EOF Advisor/Counselor, review important institutional requirements, and check in with the EOF department periodically.
Tutoring
The EOF program at both Gloucester and Cumberland has recently partnered to offer online tutoring services exclusively for our EOF students!
We are excited to introduce this new initiative to provide you with additional support. While the college uses a similar tutoring platform, this program is designed to offer faster response times and more immediate assistance when needed.
Follow the instructions below to access 24/7 online tutoring for academic support throughout the semester:
Part-Time EOF
Students planning to enroll part-time for a semester must complete a Part-Time EOF Funding Request form with guidance from their assigned EOF Advisor/Counselor. The request will be reviewed by the EOF Director or Assistant Directors to determine if a part-time EOF grant can be applied to the student's account. Eligibility for the grant will be based on EOF regulations, program allocation, and institutional guidelines.
Workshops
EOF students must complete one (1) mandatory workshop each semester to maintain eligibility for EOF support services. Each semester, the EOF department will notify students of the available workshop options. Be sure to check your college-issued email for workshop announcements.
Gloucester Students: Workshop sign-ups will be sent via email at the start of the each semester.
Cumberland Students: Workshop sign-ups will be available on Blackboard at the start of the each semester.
Transfer Out
Students who wish to transfer to another New Jersey institution that participates in the EOF program are encouraged to complete an EOF Transfer Form to help facilitate the transfer process.
Please note, this form is specifically for EOF transfers only.
Once the form is completed, EOF staff will send an internal document to the EOF program at your desired transfer institution as indicated on your form. Students must also apply to the EOF program at the transfer institution and follow their admission procedures. The final decision on acceptance into their EOF program will be made by the transfer institution.
Transfer College Waiver
When applying to your next institution, you may come across application or enrollment fees. Current EOF students should reach out to their assigned EOF Advisor/Counselor for assistance with these fees. The EOF program may provide a written statement to help you obtain a college fee waiver as you transition to your new institution.
