Collegiate High School Ambassadors represent and promote Rowan College of South Jersey within their high school. Ambassadors will be afforded various opportunities to gain invaluable leadership skills and experience. They will support the Collegiate High School and High School Option Program (HSOP) community while also bolstering skills crucial to college readiness and beyond.
Examples of Duties:
- Under the direction of the Director, Secondary Education Engagement, ambassadors will serve as point of contact for current and prospective Collegiate High School and HSOP students
- Assist with events occurring within their respective high school, when possible
- Assist with events held on campus outside of the high school schedule, when possible
- Attend monthly ambassador meetings
- Assist with training of incoming ambassadors
- Serve as peer mentors for newer HSOP and Collegiate High School students
Qualifications:
- At least a “B" average on their high school grading scale
- Students are strongly encouraged to have taken RCSJ course(s) prior to becoming an ambassador, but not required to have done so
- Good communication skills
- Sophomore or Junior level students preferred, but Seniors and First year students will also be considered

Students selected to be Collegiate High School Ambassadors will have the opportunity to have lunch with the President of RCSJ once a semester while they are active ambassadors.
RCSJ swag/gear
Ambassadors will receive special attire to wear regularly throughout their time in the program.
Recognition
Each ambassador will have their professional headshot taken and displayed on the Collegiate High School page of the RCSJ website along with a short biography about them.
Please complete the application by April 15, 2025. Students will be selected by May 15, 2025. The 2025-2026 Student Ambassador program will begin in September 2025.
