The Center for People in Transition (PIT) is dedicated to helping displaced homemakers and individuals in life transitions gain the skills, confidence, and resources they need to achieve financial and emotional self-sufficiency.
A
displaced homemaker is someone who has lost their primary source of financial support due to separation, divorce, death, or disability of a spouse and is emotionally and/or vocationally unprepared to enter the job market. Our goal is to provide the education, guidance, and support needed to overcome these challenges and build a secure future.
Are you…
- Facing separation, divorce, death, or disability of a spouse?
- Unemployed, underemployed, or unsure how to re-enter the job market?
- Feeling unprepared to start a new career path?
If so, PIT is here to help!
