Advisors can also assist students in exploring careers, transfer options and much more! Your advisor is essentially the academic tour guide that will assist you in navigating your college career. It is an advisor's responsibility to assist and guide the student. However, it is the student's responsibility to make final decisions about his or her academic program and career selection.
Students are encouraged to make an appointment each semester to ensure they are on track to complete their degree on time. If a student does not have an appointment, they can stop into Express Advising located in the lobby of Student Services. Express Advising is reserved for quick transactions and questions.
