An associate degree in Marine Science provides students with a foundation of study in the physical, biological and chemical sciences as well as an understanding of the marine environment and its interactions with the earth, biosphere and atmosphere. This major prepares students with a broad curriculum in the sciences, with an understanding of marine life and its adaptations, and for transfer to a four-year institution or employment in the industry.
