Dr. Fred Keating, president of Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) and Amy B. Mansue, president, and CEO of Inspira Health, have been selected by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County to be their 2023 Persons of the Year at their annual Fall Gala.
This year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County Gala, will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Auletto Caterers in Deptford, NJ. The theme for this year's Gala is "Together for Children: Strengthening Partnerships in Education and Healthcare."
The gala theme resonates with this year's honorees being recognized as visionaries for their collaboration in creating a premier partnership in education, employment, and patient care in South Jersey. This new alliance is also designed to educate and retain future healthcare professionals within the community and provide priority clinical experience to support nursing, behavioral, and allied health students at the College's Cumberland and Gloucester campuses, propelling local talent into healthcare careers.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. RCSJ and Inspira, as well as its leadership, align perfectly with the Boys and Girls Club of Gloucester County's mission and Keating and Mansue are honored to be recognized at the annual Fall Gala focusing on education and healthcare.

We will also provide a pathway to higher education for Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County students and help them build a life that is meaningful to them," said Dr. Fred Keating, president of RCSJ.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County has a nomination process which considers their Person of the Year candidate's contributions to the Gloucester County community as well as support of their mission to help the young people of the region. Both Keating and Mansue were selected as they excelled in both key criteria as well as the partnership they have forged to improve the lives of young people and all Gloucester County residents.

As part of the premier partnership between RCSJ and Inspira Health, RCSJ nursing and allied health students will study and train in two buildings displaying the Inspira name — the Inspira Nursing & Health Professions Center and the Inspira Health Sciences Center. Student scholarships will be provided for those pursuing healthcare occupations and fund future program development. RCSJ will also provide all Inspira employees with a 50% discount on tuition and guarantee the best available price.
