The “Season of Giving" at RCSJ:
STUDENT GOVERNMENT LEADS COLLEGE'S 14TH ANNUAL GIFT GIVING DRIVE
Rowan College of South Jersey's (RCSJ) Student Government Association (SGA) is on a mission to spread some cheer this holiday season. In partnership with the Rowan College Foundation and the Center for People in Transition, the SGA will lead RCSJ's 14th annual Season of Giving virtual donation drive to support local families.
The Season of Giving project encourages RCSJ students, staff, faculty and community members to come together to provide gifts that will make the holiday season a little brighter for Gloucester County children in need. Every dollar donated will go towards the purchase of gifts for over 100 local children currently looking to the program for some seasonal cheer.
"We are excited to once again partner up with Rowan College of South Jersey on their annual Season of Giving – every year we help local families with gifts and food for the holidays," said Crystal Noboa, Director of the Center for People in Transition. "Our mission is to help displaced homemakers achieve self-sufficiency through life-skills training, education or vocational training, advocacy and supportive services. Becoming self-sufficient is a challenging task and having financial support during the holidays puts them one step closer to achieving their goals."
Join the SGA in their mission to spread some holiday cheer today. Stop by the Gloucester campus Student Life office on the second floor of the College Center, room 203, to choose a tree ornament featuring a child's gift request. All gifts must be delivered to the Student Life team by December 2, 2022; or make a monetary donation online at RCSJ.edu/SeasonOfGiving by December 23.
