How to Apply

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. ​Complete the free RCSJ application online
    You can find the application at RCSJ.edu/Apply.
  2. Complete the FAFSA
    If you believe you may be eligible for financial aid, you can complete the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) at www.FAFSA.gov​. (Note: You must be a legal resident or citizen of the U.S. to qualify for financial aid. This process may take 5 to 6 weeks). You may need assistance initiating the financial aid process.
  3. Take the ESL ACCUPLACER assessment
    This test helps determine the appropriate level for you. Please contact the Testing Center at 856-200-4648 to inquire about test dates/times and schedule your assessment.
  4. Choose classes
    After taking the assessment, an advisor from the ESL Department will contact you (approximately 3-5 days) to discuss your results and help you choose appropriate classes. If you do not receive a call or email, please reach out to the contacts listed in the "Contact Us" section below.
