​​​​Irena Skot began her career as a student worker/technician at the College in 1998 and progressed to her current position as the Assistant Professor, Business Studies. She earned an associate's degree in Network Management from Rowan College of South Jersey (former Gloucester County College and Rowan College at Gloucester County), a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Widener, and Masters of Business Administration from Wilmington University.  Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree in Business Administration at Wilmington University.

As a faculty member at the College since 2005, she has developed and taught online, hybrid, face-to-face, web-enhanced, and live-online undergraduate courses in business, computer information systems, social media, advertising, economics, and sociology.

As a Quality Matters (QM) Certified Master Reviewer and F2F Facilitator, she has served on several QM reviews of online courses for other colleges and universities. She has also facilitated several Applying Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) statewide workshops.
