​​​​​​​​​​​​​​What is RCSJ's 3+1 program?

​ Save on tuition and fees* by completing your first 3 years at the community college cost (Rowan College - Gloucester) and the final year at the university rate (Rowan University). At least 30 credits of a bachelor’s degree program must be completed at Rowan University for the degree to be awarded. This is a Rowan University requirement.

*The Rowan College at South Jersey Nursing program is a selective admissions program that requires additional fees (exams, equipment, etc.).

Earn a Bachelor's Degree at Rowan University
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is offered by the Rowan University School of Health Professions and administered through Global Learning & Partnerships.

It is designed to provide RNs with the opportunity to acquire a highly sought after BSN degree with little interruption to professional or personal obligations.

Complete your Junior year at RCSJ
Rowan College at South Jersey follows Rowan University's course curriculum with 300-level classes taught by Rowan College South Jersey's advanced-degree faculty.  These classes transfer to Rowan University and meet requirements for the third year of the program.

Students must first complete one of​ the following RCSJ degree:

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN) and apply to a Board of Nursing for licensure as registered nurses.
