Certified Nursing Assistant January 6- February 25, 2026

The Certified Nursing Assistant Program teaches students how to provide daily basic care for patients. A CNA provides physical and emotional support for patients in nursing homes, hospitals and other various settings. A CNA must be able to provide personal assistance to individuals who are unable to care for themselves and help them regain and maintain daily functions. This course gives students the full academic and hands-on skills required to pass the state licensing exams.

Certified Patient Care Technician February 17- June 30, 2026

Patient care technicians (PCTs) are essential to the medical industry because they work behind the scenes to take care of the technical details that make a huge difference in patients' lives. As a patient care technician, you will care for patients daily and contribute to saving lives. With your support, patients can get through the rough days of being sick or injured at the hospital. Developing your technical and workplace skills can build a strong foundation for this job. A career in health care can also be rewarding, especially if you enjoy interacting with and caring for patients daily. Upon completing the program, you'll will be prepared to sit for the following certification exams from the National Healthcareer Association: ;Certified Patient Care Technician Exam, EKG Exam and Phlebotomy.


Dental Office Assistant January 6- March 12, 2026

T., Th. | 6- 8 p.m. | RCSJ Cumberland 

This course will teach students the essential knowledge and skills necessary to manage the business aspects of a dental practice. Students will learn communication skills, accounting procedures, insurance claim processing, dental terminology, dental anatomy, patient scheduling, inventory management, and dental coding and procedures. After completing the course, students will be eligible to take the Certified Dental Office Assistant Certification exam. 


Advanced Manufacturing & Trades​​

Automotive Brake Systems January 12- February 25, 2026

M., W. | 6- 9 p.m. | RCSJ Cumberland

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the automotive brake systems. With the numerous types of brake systems in today's vehicles, training is needed to be able to maintain and repair these systems. Topics include hydraulic systems, drum brakes, disc brakes, power assist units, electronic brake control system, ABS and TCS diagnosis and repair.

CNC Operator February 17- April 30, 2026

T., W., Th. | 10 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. | RCSJ Sewell

Students will have the ability to develop skills in the following areas:  precision measurement & gauging, tool identification, set-up, use and maintenance, CNC mill setup, operation, and control, inspection and preparation of raw materials, CNC blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT), CNC program operation, and introduction to G- and M- codes. Completion of the course will prepare the student to take the NIMS CNC Mill Operations certification.


Industrial Maintenance Technician: Basic Pneumatic Systems February 17- March 25, 2026

M., T., Wed. | 5:30- 9:30 p.m. | RCSJ Cumberland

In Basic Pneumatic Systems, students will adhere to fluid power system safety rules; adjust pneumatic system branch operating pressure using a regulator and pneumatic actuator speed using a flow control valve; service a pneumatic filter and pneumatic lubricator; install pneumatic conductors; start up and shut down a reciprocating air compressor and adjust operating pressure; and install test components in pneumatic circuits. Upon completion, students will sit for the NIMS basic pneumatic systems credential.


Renewable & Sustainable Energy

Introduction​​​ to Water & Wastewater Treatment Program NJDEP​ January 6- July 30, 2026

Water and wastewater treatment is the process of removing contaminants from wastewater, and includes physical, chemical, and biological removal processes. This course introduces the problem-solving concepts and tools commonly used in environmental engineering, present the fundamental operations and processes that are used, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment processes, and instills knowledge essential for basic understanding of environmental systems.


Veterinary Care​

Pet First ​Aid February 4, 2026

Wed. | 5:30- 9:30 p.m. | RCSJ Gloucester

This interactive course will focus on the topics such as pet first aid, animal CPR, preparing for and reacting to pet emergencies and general pet care.  Learn aout animal behavior, "Best Practice" tips and how to plan and prepare for disasters with your animal.

Veterinary Assistant​ February 11- April 23, 2026

Wed., Thu. | 5:30- 9:30 p.m. | RCSJ Gloucester

The Veterinary Assistant Program at RCSJ follows NAVTA Veterinary Assistant standards in a program designed to provide participants with the necessary skills to become an integral part of the veterinary healthcare team. Veterinary Assistants, working under the supervision of a Veterinarian, can assist with animal health histories and records, provide specialized nursing care, assist in surgical procedures, and wash, feed, and care for animals. As a Veterinary Assistant, you can work at a veterinary hospital, animal shelter, kennel or laboratory.
