Financial Aid at Gloucester

Special Filing Circumstances

The Rowan College Office of Financial Aid recognizes that a student's situation is unique, and sometimes personal circumstances might influence the application process. The College offers three types of appeals to assist students in securing their aid or reinstating their eligibility. Students must complete the FAFSA and verification process before submitting an appeal.

  • Special Conditions Appeal
Students and families who are experiencing economic hardship may apply for a reduction of income. Economic hardships can range from involuntary job loss to the death of an income provider.

  • Dependency Override
Dependent students who fit certain criteria may appeal to earn independent status.
