Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) is proud to present “Clue: On Stage" in the Luciano Theatre at the Guaracini Performing Arts Center. This event, which takes place from Thursday, November 17 through Sunday, November 20, is being presented by RCSJ's Communication and Creative & Performing Arts Division's Fine Arts/Theater/Acting program.
Deborah Bradshaw, RCSJ director of Performing Arts, is directing the play. “Clue: On Stage," based on the board game and film, is described as a “murder-mystery comedy thriller."
When asked what the audience can expect to experience, Bradshaw said, “A fun evening with an excited cast of students, faculty and community members … staged on a beautiful set with many surprises in the script."
According to Bradshaw, a Broadway veteran, this will be the College's second attempt at performing this play. “We were four weeks away from opening 'Clue' in April 2020 when we closed down due to the pandemic," she explained.
The director is doubly thrilled to be back in the nearly three-decade old Guaracini Center and for the performers to have an opportunity to showcase their acting chops on its stage. “This is a wonderful theatre holding cherished memories of those who have graced our stage on and off," she said. “I have been proud to call this beautiful theatre home for over 17 years."
Tickets range from $5 for students to $15 for general admission and can currently be purchased at rccumberland.booktix.com. The box office will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4:30 p.m. beginning on Thursday, October 13. Tickets will also be available 90 minutes before each performance.
