Commencement 2025
Cumberland Campus Commencement Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m.
Commencement will take place in Parking Lot L.
The Campus Commencement is a traditional ceremony where graduates wear ceremonial regalia. Following commencement custom, students will march, listen to graduation speeches, and be acknowledged on stage before the official conferral of degrees.
Commencement BBQ and Rehearsal
All graduates are strongly encouraged to attend our Grad BBQ and Rehearsal on Wednesday, May 14th. Our BBQ begins at 12:30 pm and rehearsal will directly follow at 2:00 pm. These events will be held in Parking Lots K and L. All graduates are encouraged to attend to ensure students know the details of the day and their names are correctly pronounced.
Accessibility and Accommodations
There is handicapped parking and seating available for those who may need accommodation. This is available as long as an appropriate decal is displayed.
Alternate Viewing Locations
The ceremony (rain or shine) will be live-streamed in the Guaracini Center Theater, in the gymnasium at the College and Enrollment Services Center, and in the Luciano Center room C107 at the college.

When should graduates arrive for commencement?
We ask that all graduates arrive by 3:00 p.m., as there is traffic on the day of commencement. Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and no students will be allowed to walk should they arrive after 5:30 p.m. How do I get tickets for my guests? How many guests are allowed?
There are an unlimited number of guests allowed for our commencement ceremony, and no tickets are required. However, there is limited seating available. Guests are strongly encouraged to bring their own lawn/beach chairs to ensure they have seating.
Security and police detail will be present to direct traffic. Follow the directions from the attendants for a smooth experience. Please factor traffic into your travel plans for the day.
