The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program prepares the physical therapist assistant to provide physical therapy interventions and components of therapeutic measurement under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Physical Therapy Examination for Physical Therapist Assistants to determine competence for licensure .

This program is not designed for students who wish to progress to a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

18 Students maximum accepted annually
Schedule:
Daytime, weekday program. Technical phase courses can be 4-5 days per week. Extensive clinical requirements in semesters 3 and 4.
