You’re not alone.
Life changes such as divorce, separation, widowhood, domestic violence, military deployment or a spouse’s disability can suddenly change your financial circumstances and create the need for a new career path. Returning to work or finding a better job can feel overwhelming—but support is available.
Center for Displaced Homemakers Can Help
We provide no-cost, confidential and personalized support to help you move toward financial and emotional independence.
Our services are designed to help you include:
• Job counseling and job readiness training
• Career exploration and development
• Educational information and support services
• Workshops on relevant topics
• Computer literacy training
• Referrals to community and social service resources
• Emotional support and encouragement
Whether you are entering the workforce for the first time or updating your skills, we are here to help you reach your full potential and achieve self-sufficiency.

Workshops & Courses
All workshops are free and open to the public, ages 18 and older. You do not have to be a displaced homemaker to attend. Registration is required.
